Why did you choose MEMIC?
Initially, I chose MEMIC because of the size of the organization and their involvement in our community. I wanted to work at a company where giving back to our society was engrained in the culture and where all employees were valued, respected and listened to. Aside from this, I knew that I could learn a lot from the HR team at MEMIC and that they would challenge me to become a better Human Resources Professional.
… And haven’t looked back since joining the team. MEMIC is comprised of authentic, knowledgeable, and hardworking individuals and I’m grateful to be a part of it.

What’s your favorite thing about working at MEMIC?
First and foremost, it’s the people. I can honestly say I enjoy coming to work and collaborating with my co-workers and manager every day. They make it fun, they’re supportive and they challenge me to always be better. Another big reason I stay at MEMIC is the room for growth. I started at MEMIC right after college as an HR Assistant and I’ve been given many opportunities to learn new things and move up within the company. MEMIC really cares about helping their employees get where they want to go.

· I selected MEMIC because two years ago, I worked in their HR Department as a temporary employee. During that time, I gained valuable insights into the company, the HR Department operations, and its employees. I found everyone to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and I observed a strong work ethic and professionalism among the staff.

What is your favorite benefit MEMIC offers?
My favorite benefit that MEMIC offers is the educational assistance program. The assistance program helps me to fulfill both my corporate and personal goals. The great thing about MEMIC is that there are so many opportunities to grow. As a recent college graduate who appreciates learning, this provides me with several opportunities to further enhance the skills I currently possess. I am amazed at all the development programs they have in place for employees, which shows how much they care for their employees’ growth.

MEMIC has many great benefits to offer its employees, but my favorite is the Profit Sharing and 401k match allowing me to plan for my future. I also love the generous PTO package which allows me to take time and refresh with my family.
